About BENSOM

Benissa School of Ministry was created for the aim of equipping the saints for the ministry

During the early years we provided an educational training on a campus based program.  However we soon realised there were many students who were unable to leave their homes or who could not afford the cost of the on campus education program.  BENSOM decided on the importance of changing  its program to a new extension correspondence education program for training ministers and servants who could fulfil God's plan for the nations.

In this last year BENSOM has designed a new Studies Program and in doing so we have also become a school of theology for the 21st Century which is rooted in historic Christianity.  BENSOM is built on the requirements necessary for a spirit-filled ministry for today.

In pursuit of this purpose, we believe that the preparation for Gospel ministry must be firmly rooted in the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures, which provides us with the knowledge of God, as that teaching which has been interpreted by the early Church Fathers and the English Reformers and life under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit.

It has been designed specifically for those students who are unable to attend a residential program of theological studies making this program an alternative.  It will not be an easy program and it will require commitment and dedication from the students. 

The faculty is comprised of lecturers from round the world, representing a variety of Christian backgrounds, experience and education perspectives.
